This pull request sets up GitHub code scanning for this repository. Definitely want to revisit/cover what our semantic versioning strategy will be. We haven't really gone over it explicitly, but I agree with this.

devX seems to be a convention but I'm not sure what it indicates … we are on dev2 now apparently 😄

It was auto-incremented by the releaser, I'll switch back to 5.0a0
